Our Commitment to Quality: A Continuous Cycle of Excellence
At UWorld, quality isn't just a buzzword; it's the cornerstone of our approach. Through our bi-annual surveys targeting all nursing students who utilize our NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN Review Course, we harness the power of feedback to refine and perfect our educational materials.
Created by former NCSBN item writers, practicing nurses, and seasoned nursing educators, our content is designed to meet the highest standards of nursing instruction and high-stakes exam preparation.
UWorld by the Numbers: A Diverse Learner Community
In our latest survey, we learned that our students were still primarily located in the United States (54.89%), with significant representation from Canada (23.12%) and increasing international representation, accounting for 22% of participants. With 9,800 completed responses, our community's voice is both clear and impactful.
In May 2024, UWorld Nursing surveyed student users and received 9,800 completed survey responses.
90% of respondents were RN test takers, and the other 10% were PN test takers.
82% of NCLEX-RN respondents were first-time test takers. 81% of NCLEX-PN respondents were first-time test takers.
Our strict inclusion criteria guarantee the statistical validity of the results: we only included users who took the exam between October 15th, 2023 to March 31, 2024, answered more than 500 questions, and stayed active up to six months before their exam date.
Visualizing Success: Student Survey Results
Achieving exceptional results on the NCLEX exam demands a strategic and comprehensive study approach. UWorld's student survey data reveals a powerful success formula: the majority of students who attained high scores in our QBank practice tests and achieved a "High" or "Very High" rating on our Self-Assessment Tests successfully passed the NCLEX.
The strong correlation between high scores in practice tests, exemplary Self-Assessment results, and NCLEX success provides a clear, evidence-based path to follow. Trusting in this proven approach allows you to prepare with confidence, knowing you are following a roadmap laid out by thousands of successful nurses before you.

Self-Assessment Test Results: A Benchmark for Success
We meticulously design our Self-Assessment Tests to give students a realistic preview of the Next Generation NCLEX exam, empowering them with insights into their preparedness and areas for improvement. Students participating in these assessments can measure their performance against rigorous standards, ensuring they're on the right path.
Students scoring in the "High" or "Very High" categories on multiple self-assessments consistently report higher pass rates on their first NCLEX attempt, proving the effectiveness of our assessments in preparing students for exam day.
UWorld’s Net Promoter Score
UWorld Nursing boasts an impressive Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 79, far surpassing the industry average and highlighting the unmatched satisfaction and loyalty of our users. The Net Promoter Score is a widely used metric that gauges the willingness of customers to recommend a company's products or services to others. It is a powerful indicator of customer satisfaction and a company's potential for growth, measured on a scale ranging from -100 to 100.
Our NPS is a crucial part of our continuous improvement process. It signifies that we listen to and value student feedback, using it to refine and enhance our offerings continually.

What Is A Good UWorld Score?
In alignment with the Next-Generation NCLEX (NGN) exam's adoption of partial credit scoring, our NCLEX Review course has been updated to reflect this change. To ensure optimal student preparedness for the NGN, we recommend utilizing the percentile rank (p-rank) as a benchmark for a good UWorld NCLEX QBank score. Students should strive to achieve a p-rank at or above the 50th percentile across all subject areas and body systems.
A student's p-rank is a valuable metric for gauging their progress relative to their peers. This comparative assessment allows students to identify their strengths and weaknesses within the context of the broader NGN candidate pool. Furthermore, UWorld’s performance metrics provide granular filtering capabilities that enable targeted interventions in areas requiring focused study.
