UWorld by the Numbers — Who Uses Our NCLEX Review?
In our April 2026 survey, 57% of respondents were in the United States, 22% were from Canada, and 21% were in other countries. With over 10,000 responses, these insights provide a powerful snapshot of our diverse learning community.
We surveyed UWorld students and received 10,000 completed survey responses.
88% of respondents were RN test-takers, and the other 12% were PN test-takers.
88% of NCLEX-RN respondents and 84% of NCLEX-PN respondents were first-time test-takers.
A Growing, Global Community of Future Nurses
Our reach continues to expand beyond the United States. In our latest survey, Canadian students made up 22% of respondents, up from 17% the year before, reflecting UWorld's growing role in NCLEX preparation across Canada.
We're also seeing more PN test-takers turn to UWorld. Practical and vocational nursing students grew to 12% of respondents, up from 10%, as more LPN/LVN programs and their students recognize the value of UWorld's NCLEX-PN review.
That global reach shows up in the languages our students speak, too. Nearly 4 in 10 respondents (39%) reported a first language other than English, a reflection of the diverse, multilingual classrooms educators support every day.
This growth tells a clear story: students across designations, languages, and borders increasingly trust UWorld to prepare them for exam day, giving educators a partner with proven reach and results.

For students who purchase a UWorld NCLEX subscription independently, a good UWorld QBank score is determined by their percentile rank (p-rank) compared to other test-takers. Students should aim for a p-rank at or above the 50th percentile across all subject areas to maximize their chances of passing the NCLEX.
