Frequently Asked Questions

UWorld’s Self-Assessment tests are included with every subscription and additional tests can be purchased. The Self-Assessment tests will appear in your member area and must be activated separately from the QBank.
We recommend taking at least three Self-Assessment tests – one as you begin studying for the NCLEX, one half-way through your study plan, and another one just before you take the exam. However, UWorld offers up to 6 self assessment tests and we recommend that you continually assess your progress throughout your journey.
Each Self-Assessment test includes 100 questions aligned to the content distribution categories on the 2023 NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN test plan.
UWorld Self-Assessment tests are timed, users are given 3 hours and 26 minutes to complete each test.
Developed by experts in psychometrics and education, scoring for the Self-Assessment tests takes into account your performance across all sections, question types, and difficulty levels, providing a reliable and precise indication of your NCLEX readiness.
Absolutely! You can purchase up to six Self-Assessment tests to take throughout your NCLEX study plan.
UWorld Nursing’s Self-Assessment tests are most effective when used as checkpoints during your study plan. We highly recommend taking one at the beginning of your NCLEX study plan to determine your strengths and weaknesses, one mid-way through your study plan to gauge your progress, and another just before the NCLEX to determine your readiness. However, taking all 6 will improve your chances of success and give you more confidence on exam day.
