Comprehensive NCLEX Reporting for Nursing Programs

Flexible NCLEX Reporting to Elevate Your Program

Student performance makes up the foundation of our LP reporting methodology. By tracking how well individual students understand essential clinical topics, you can:

Identify At-Risk
Students
Detect at-risk students earlier and incorporate individualized remediation to prevent them from falling behind.
Improve Instruction
Methods
View class-wide performance data to identify students’ strengths and weaknesses, and adjust as needed.
Align with Professional Standards
Verify that your program meets professional standards and guidelines from the AACN, QSEN, NLN, CJMM, and others.

NCLEX Insights at Every Level — A Holistic Approach

No single measurement paints a definitive picture of NCLEX® readiness. That’s why we synthesize a variety of student performance metrics into reports that span all program levels. Consider the following variables when reviewing our reports.

  • Overall Context: Context matters when interpreting student performance. Consider individual or generational learning styles, personal circumstances, program variations, and related factors.
  • Qualitative Insights: Combining quantitative data with qualitative observations and self-assessments adds valuable depth to the evaluation process.
  • Potential Improvement: While determining NCLEX readiness is essential, so is identifying where improvements can be made at an individual or program-wide level to better support student preparation.

Our real-time LP reports empower educators to understand their students’ strengths and weaknesses, gain a holistic view of their program’s effectiveness, and inspire positive change.

Live tracking of individual student performance data helps instructors provide individualized remediation.

Comprehensive NCLEX Assessment Suite for Nursing Education

Our suite of NCLEX assessments gives you the flexibility to challenge your students at targeted intervals, optimizing data collection, remediation efforts, and NCLEX preparation.

  • Student Self-Assessments: Through our LP, we offer multiple self-assessments that you can release to your students. They come with detailed rationales, similar to the explanations paired with our practice questions. Use them to track your students’ comprehension during instruction.
  • Faculty-Only Summative Assessments: These 115-item, proctored exams (2x per term) deliver unique questions that can’t be found elsewhere in the program. They’re built for benchmarking and identifying at-risk students.
  • NCLEX-RN® Benchmark Exams: These secure exams (2x per term) are full-length and fully simulate the NCLEX-RN. The questions are new and fully align with the NCLEX regarding client needs categories and NGN item distribution.

Our Content Development Process

Your reports are only as good as the content they track. To ensure positive completion and performance results correlate to exam and career success, all our material is prepared by our talented team of former NCLEX item authors, evaluators, esteemed nurse educators, and practicing nurses. Their combined real-world experience allows us to follow an item development process closely resembling the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN®).

  • All UWorld nurses have completed the NCSBN Test Development and Item Writing Course to ensure our questions reflect the format and standards of the real exam.
  • All our item content is validated for relevance to current practice using evidence-based, practice-reference resources.

Gathering Performance Metrics

For a comprehensive review of your students’ clinical judgment and program’s effectiveness, we gather data from multiple sources that span the skill sets required for the NCLEX and modern practice.

  • Practice tests and quizzes:  With access to reporting from both the dedicated Faculty QBank and the Student Self-Study QBank, educators gain a comprehensive view of student engagement and performance across all practice activities.
  • Adaptive practice tests: Students can access computerized adaptive testing (CAT) practice tests in their self-study QBank. Like the real NCLEX, our adaptive practice tests select classic and NGN items based on the test takers’ skill level. This builds crucial test-taking skills, endurance, and familiarity.
  • Assessment suite: Our targeted assessments help you test and track your students’ understanding in unique ways throughout your program. Use them to elevate learning outcomes and your program’s effectiveness. They use statistically validated scoring, predict your students’ likelihood of passing the NCLEX, and provide instructors with in-depth performance analytics for remediation purposes.
  • Lecture videos: Our bite-sized NCLEX videos reinforce important exam concepts in a visually engaging and dynamic way. Students can access them in the self-study QBank for remediation purposes, while instructors can monitor completion rates and use them in class as lecture launchers.
